The Cox family led our devotion Thursday morning. It was about missions and sowing fruit. It was definitely a challenge to everyone's hearts.
Basketball camp was awesome. We were able to give each kid their biblle and share te Gospel again. It was family day and several parents came, so we were able to spend some time with the parents as well. After bball camp we recieved news that a dad had approached Pastor Jeff with questions about Jesus and said he was bringing his entire family to church Sunday. It was encouraging to hear this! Seeds were planted not mention it was a blast just to hang out with these kids all week!!!
We went home and ate lunch and then rested for a while. Then we headed to the last night of vbs. It was a wonderful time of worship and a wonderful presentation of the gospel by Randy and Chris. The kids were absolutely tuned in to every word spoken. We may never see the fruit personally from this week, but there will be fruit. I'm so grateful for every single person who helped, taught, prayed over and help make vbs happen. I know God is honored with our efforts.
After dinner we had a variety show!!! It was SO funny. There were performances by the spartan cheerleaders, midget boybanders, cold olsteen, and the lunch lady. It. Was. Amazing. We literally laughed until we cried. It was a fantastic time together.
We are all tired and exhausted. People are starting to get sick and desperately wanting to see their families... I am one of these BUT it has been a week filled of intimate worship with Jesus and unspeakable Joy. I'm so thankful God called me to come on this trip!
Tomorrow is a fun day and we are planning to go up a mountain! I will be sure to post several pictures!
