Saturday morning, Carmen invited myself, Lindsey and Jess over for a little brunch and a pool day! This would have marked the first time in 4 years I went to the pool without my girls. I was surprisingly excited for a little "me" time and a little sun. But seriously on the other hand I was missing my little boogers too.
Patty cooked a fabulous breakfast complete with homemade waffle, quiche,cantaloupe and sausage. It was so tasty, and very full of calories:)
After brunch we headed to the pool. Out of 4 hours, I think there was 12 minutes of sun. Seriously. Mostly our pool day was full of clouds and overcast skies, but also good convo and a little music!
