Last day of summer for daddy!

Summer time is my favorite. My husband is off. I work two days. We play a lot. We go to the lake, the pool, or basically wherever we decide spur of the moment. The Rigsby fam loves to be near water and outside, so we live it up during the summer!  Last Wednesday was Eric's last day of summer, and we decided we would take full advantage of it. We packed a picnic and headed to the park. 

After lunch, the girls spent some time at the park, on the splashpad, and feeding the ducks!  I love to watch my kids play. It seriously makes my heart smile. We hen went for ice cream and then to be mall for Allie and Emma to spend a gift card to Claire's they had received for their birthday. Emma chose princess gloves and a stuffed animal, and Allie chose lip gloss and stuffed animal. It was so funny to see the girls try to decide how to use their cards. They are just growing too fast. They aren't babies any more, but more little girls. They are becoming so independent and developing who they are individually. This parenting this is hard, with choices and screw ups everyday, but the coolest most rewarding thing yet!!
