We left Tuesday after lunch to head to Callaway Gardens. We started this little family tradition last year. It's one my highlights to the year!! We arrived in time to layer up clothing and over to The Fantasy of Lights! The girls ordered and tried their first fried Oreos, of which they absolutely loved. We headed to board the jolly trolley for our hour ride through the several mile, 8 million light scenes. We sang Christmas carols along the way, and surprisingly it wasn't too terribly cold. It was a beautiful night and the joy on Allie and Emma's face was priceless!
The next morning we had a great breakfast at the INN and the headed to see the birds of prey show, which owls and Hawks literalky touched our heads as they flew over. I was terrified:). The girls weren't at all... Next we went to the butterfly museum. Emma was quite the photographer during this. It was precious!
We headed home and capped off the trip with an amazing lunch at Olive Garden. I'm so thankful for each moment and memory with my previous family.
