The weather we have been having lately is extremely toasty! Like almost 100 degrees each day with a heat index of MUCH high as well as 100% humidity. Needless to say, it's misery! However, we have tried to make the best of the unbearable temperatures, and using it as an excuse to be in or near water at all times! My babies LOVE the water! Allie is seriously going to be an Olympic swimmer! At 21 months old, this chick is jumping off the diving board alone. Mind you Eric or myself is there to catch her and she has her floating devices donned, but still she is fearless! Emma still hasn't made the leap of faith off the diving board, but she will jump off the sides and she is getting much more comfortable! The girls are just so incredibly fun right now!
Yesterday, our church hosted a "Caring for Cordova" day in the downtown area of Cordova that was destroyed by the tornados. It was a fantastic day. We teamed up with the Alabama Fishing Association and had a fish fry, tons of desserts, a baseball camp, cake walk giving away appliances, and three inflatables for the kids! Tons of people came through and we were able to minster to several people. Again, the sun was beaming and temperatures were sky high, but it was totally worth it!
During the month of June our church has revivals every Monday night. It is such a refreshing time and time that I look so forward to every year. I pray God shows up and shows out each and every service!
Summer is becoming my favorite time of the year. I get to spend lots of quality time with my husband girls! I love it! Can't wait to see what the next few months bring!
